We stayed in the Floral Suite which was ideal for our young family. Good to be a little removed from other guests with a 3 and 1 year old! Many B&B’s wouldn’t accept a booking with children under 12. Our host, David was very helpful with all our requests. From the welcome at the door to the delicious breakfasts, I can’t recommend staying here enough.Humboldt House is clean and beautifully presented. The location is also incredibly central with an easy walk to town (great shopping) and Beacon Hill Park (complete with swans, ducks with ducklings and childrens park). Also great to have a sitting room upstairs to read the paper and relax away from the bedroom /children. Also very reasonably priced and great value for money.
My mom, sister and myself stayed in the Floral Suite for two nights on our girls Vacation! It was beyond expectations! This Victorian Home is lovely and very cozy. The food was fabulous! And the caretakers were lovely people! Can’t say enough good things. The location was wonderful too and within walking distance from all the sites. Hope to go back someday with my husband! I highly reccommend.
