Meet your Innkeepers

David & Vlasta Booth

Most of the time when you call or visit the Humboldt House, you will be talking to the Innkeeper, David Booth. As a trained Pastry Chef, David is passionate about food and wine, and will help you with any arrangements for your stay. You can taste his home-made chocolate truffles, and other treats while you are here. Vlasta is in charge of training the next generation of innkeepers; Spencer (9), Frances (7), and Lucinda (1).

Mila Werbik

Mila has been operating the Humboldt House since 1992, after running two popular Victoria restaurants. Most days (if she isn't tavelling around the world), you will find Mila making up beautiful flower arrangements, watering the garden, or working on her award winning amateur movies.
