Within mere blocks of The Humboldt House you can find almost any choice of eatery imaginable. Take a short walk to the Victoria’s Inner Harbour and enjoy local seafood, grilled steak and many other epicurean delights.

10 Acre Bistro (611 Courtney Street – 250-220-8008) Hip and relaxed, 10 Acre offers an authentic bistro experience and west coast inspired comfort food showcasing fresh, local in-season produce, seafood, game, cheese, wine and microbrews along with Old World decor and ambience.

Il Terrazzo (550 Johnson Street – 250-361-0028)
Fine Italian Dining in an old town courtyard setting. Oven roasted meats, pizzas, homemade pastas, and fresh west coast seafood.

Authentic Indian cuisine…signature dishes like butter chicken, coconut chicken, goat curry, lamb rogan-josh, beef short-ribs, prawn curry, and the best garlic naan in town!

Sen Zushi (940 Fort Street – 250-385-4320)
This is our favourite Japanese restaurant & sushi bar.  Closed Sundays.

Pescatores Fish House (614 Humboldt Street – 250-385-4512)
Among Victoria’s freshest and best seafood prepared in creative italian ways…three blocks from the Humboldt House.

The Blue Crab (146 Kingston Street – 250-480-1999)
Some of Victoria’s best seafood…live crab and lobster, plus a fantastic dining room over-looking the harbour.

Spinnakers Brewpub (308 Catherine Street – 250-386-2739)
Canada’s Oldest Licensed Brewpub — Located on Victoria’s Inner Harbour. Featuring ales, lagers and specialty beers, brewed on the premises. The restaurant serves some of the finest West Coast cuisine.

We’ve visited Victoria many times and have tried a couple of other B&Bs, but have found none other than the Humboldt House to be the best of them all.
